Step mum Corsage for wedding?
So my step mum is being a bit of a bitch (in my opnion) she is insisting on having a corsage when I really only wanted my mum and mum in law to have them, not only that but she won’t tell me what flowers she wants in it and I have no idea what to give her the other flowes are going to be Singapore Orchids for my mum and roses for my mother in law, to add to the issue she is going to have a one month old baby in her arms all day (her own baby) so I dont want to get anything too fussy any suggestions?
I definatly would tell that she can’t have one but my dad kind of guilted me into it and also when we put our engagement notice in the paper we didnt include her name and she emotionally manipulated us and made us feel guilty and my dad seems to think that a corsage would make up for it, so I kinda already promised her I would so I dont see any way out of giving her one now….
They have been married almost a year and they meet and got married when I already grown up.
Do not give her the same one or size as MOB and MIL. Give her a smaller wrist one, perhaps identical as your Dad’s Boutonniere. Blame it on the baby in her arms…no pins excuse.
I would also sit with my photographer and choose what and how many of the official bridal party/family photos you want, confirm with him/her ‘absolutely no deviations’, then make this ‘contract stipulation’ known to all. The reason is if she is this pushy now, I can see her demanding portraits of you w/stepsister, just ‘her’ family, etc. on your wedding day.
You can get any complaining out of the way or deal with her demands before the wedding.
